Last time I was here I didn’t have time to drive up to John O‘ Groats, the most northern part of Scotland on the mainland. Today the lads and I took off at 8:30am and made our way up.
Along the way we found an ancient standing stone, invaded the Duke of Sutherland’s castle, and had some phenomenal fish and chips.
The Orkney islands loomed over the horizon of the northern reach of Scotland. Seth found a hat, I grabbed a book, and Chandler, Stephen, and Daniel found some coffee (Americano).
The drive home wore us all out and after the meeting we’re pretty much down for the count.
Oh yeah, John O’ Groats was a Dutchman named Jan de Groots.
Stay tuned.

A Dutchman, biggest letdown so
