Cuith-Raing and Fairy Pools

Today was absolutely amazing and my favorite day thus far on this trip (besides the first day getting off the plane). We hiked up this massive structure that gave us some incredible views...and LOTS of wind. After that, we went to the Fairy Pools. The water running is so absolutely clear that the color from the sky and rocks below give the water a blueish hue. We finished the day with a traditional Scottish haggis meal. It consisted of haggis, mashed potatoes, and mashed turnips. It turns out that in Scotland, what the call a turnip is actually what in the States we would call a rutabaga. One traditional way to eat the meal is to scoop a little of each onto your fork and eat them together.

WARNING!!! The videos that I'm posting can be very loud, as there was a 35mph constant wind with gusts up to 50mph. I don't say anything in them, so you may not need the sound at all anyway.
